After the heartless first installment comes this unabashedly warm collection of not-so-typical love songs. Love has almost always been present in Electrique's albums, but what sets Part 2 apart from the others is not only how this well-dissected theme was uniquely presented but also on how it was concluded. As the last song ends, you will be smiling. And your heart is smiling too.
-The New York Times

Every song has this one witty line which exudes a maturity which can only be conceived from a plethora of experiences coupled with sensitive introspection. Not only is this Electrique's best love album, it might as well be Electrique's best all in all. A keen sense of melody, a solid theme, elegance, a story, originality - this album just has them all.
-Billboard.com

"A Crowd of Others - Part 2" captivates its audience as much as "Rainbow's End" did. It is endearing, involving, gripping, and at times, even heartbreaking (especially towards the end) without an ounce of cheesiness or cheapness. A rewarding listen.
-Entertainment Weekly

Listening to this album is like listening to an old mixtape you found in your parents' attic on a hot summer day. It brings to mind an old-fashioned drawing room filled with paintings on the walls and old photos on the mantelpiece, with golden afternoon sunlight pouring in through the windows. Part 2 is so realized in its concept that listening to it again feels like coming home.
-Dot Music

Whereas Part 1 gave its listeners a headache with its swirls and twists of the mind, Part 2 is shamelessly transparent and straightforward. The heartfelt lyrics seem lifted from diary entries. Its simplicity (both in sound and in words) is its strength, making it an effective way of expressing its lovelorn theme. The subliminal message in this album (I love you) is not as subliminal after all.
-Rolling Stone

Perhaps the most magical feat in this installment is how it was able to illustrate the changes a failed relationship can cause one's heart. The gradual shifts in mood from a weary helplessness to a glowing hope is tricky to accomplish for most but this album does just that flawlessly and imperceptibly.
-BBC Music

There is only one thing I dislike about this album: it is too short. This album is pure joy! You couldn't help but wish this was a full-length album.
-All Music Guide

Its carefully executed balance between grit and smoothness, noise and sophistication, bite and charm, wit and warmth is what makes this album so satisfying compared to all the others. This is an album made for listening on loop - every new listen reveals an undiscovered layer, a previously unnoticed detail, a subtle clever arrangement.
-Spin

"A Crowd of Others - Part 1" has moments of awesome. But even at its strongest, it is trumped by the sheer power of Part 2. Electrique has exceeded itself once again. One cannot help but be in awe of how Electrique has continuously evolved through the years. Part 2 is undoubtedly its crowning achievement.
